Problem description:

This KB record describes FaxChange Client Printer's advanced settings and debugging options.

Problem solution:

1) How to add "Exit" item into Fax Printer menu?

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Datasys\FaxChange\Client\Exit = "1"

2) How to enable creating of debug log files?

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Datasys\FaxChange\Client\Log = "1"

Log is written into "c:\FaxPr-log.txt" file.

3) How does Fax Printer works on Windows 9x (95, 98, Me)?

There is a file "fxprt.ini" in Windows/ or Windows/System/ directory. This file contains temporary files path. Fax printer driver writes printed documents here as BMP images. User part of Fax Printer (FaxPr.exe) then converts them into TIF images and send them as an email.
